Boilermaker - Heavy Engineering

Pinches Group is looking for a dedicated Boilermaker/Welder to join our team of skilled tradespeople and engineers.

Pinches Group is a leading supplier of meat processing equipment to the rendering industry, specialising in the manufacture of pressure vessels, screw conveyors and related components.

The ideal applicant will be highly motivated, with great attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude. 

Relevant Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (or equivalent)

• Experience in heavy engineering

Required skills/experience:

• Medium to heavy fabrication in various materials. 

• Drilling, grinding, material preparation. 

• Measuring and marking out jobs.

• Disassembly and Reassembly of machinery

• MMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW welding processes.

• Cutting materials using oxy and plasma cutting process. 

• The ability to read detailed drawings

• Attention to detail

• Ability to complete tasks independently or as a team

Working Details:

• Normal working hours - 7:00am to 3:30pm

• Overtime and on-site weekend work available (incl. on-site allowance)

• Monthly RDO

• Full PPE provided
